Free Summer Food Program with MCS sunshine

2026 Summer Food flyer

The Marshall County Board of Education is offering free meal boxes again this summer to help support families during challenging times. The meal boxes will contain shelf-stable food items for seven breakfast and lunches, and will meet the USDA Summer Feeding Program guidelines. While the boxes may not cover everything, they are designed to provide helpful, nutritious meals for your children. We hope this program offers some meaningful support.

CHANGES FOR THIS SUMMER

Per USDA guidelines, this year there will be pickup locations. If you sign up, you will be responsible for picking up your food box(es) each week from the location you choose. The pickup location options are:

• MCS Nutrition Building (between Board of Education and McNinch)

• Sherrard Middle School

• Cameron Elementary School

To be eligible, you must have a student enrolled in Marshall County Schools. Per USDA Guidelines, you cannot receive a box and also receive meals at one of the Marshall County Board of Education Summer Feeding Program sites: Grand Vue Leadership Camp, Marshall County summer schools and camps.

Registration must be completed before May 1st to start receiving the meal boxes the week of June 8th. Pickup dates and times for each location will be posted after registrations are completed.
